"In the final regular season league meet of 2009, the Mules varsity boys team finished third," said Coach Mike Riley. "The revised Castle Rock course (3.1 miles) was fast, and athletes posted equally amazing times. Top gun varsity finisher Bradlee Pugh finished in a solid time 17:58.

'The varsity boys squad came through the first mile in a solid pack as four finished sub 20 minutes including a tight race between veteran runner Chris Hokkanen (18:57) and sophmore Connar Riley (18:58). On the girls side, Jori McEntire finished with her best time of the season, 26:11."
