ahkiakum Cross Country

October 8 at Millersylvania State Park

"It was a fast race," said Mule Coach Mike Riley. "New course records were set in both the boys and girls varsity races.

"Even though our boys varsity team ran some good times, it seemed we were off a little. It may be because we had four runners and were not able to compete as a team.

"Taylor Nicks brought home a medal as he placed in the top five." Nicks had a time of 8:39 in the race and placed third overall.

The Mules host their only home cross country meet today (Thursday).

Starting times are:

3:45pm Middle School (boys and girls combined)

4:15pm High School Girls (estimated time)

4:50pm High School Boys (estimated time)

Ribbons will be presented to the top 12 in each race.
