Bennet resigns as N/GRV superintendent

Naselle-Grays River Valley school board members will hold a special meeting today to accept Alan Bennett’s letter of resignation as district superintendent and a motion to rehire him as a 4th grade teacher.

Bennett submitted his letter of resignation at Tuesday evening's meeting.

The special meeting of the board will be today (Thursday) at 3:30 p.m. in the Naselle Middle School Commons.

The board spent time Tuesday in executive session to discuss Bennett’s resignation and a collective bargaining agreement before reconvening to table the motions and to announce the special meeting.
