Cooks needed for Buzzard's Breath

Cooks are needed to head to the Elochoman Marina in Cathlamet to show off their cooking skills.

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Sixth Annual Labor Day “Buzzards Breath” Chili Cook Off on September 5 and they are looking for some more teams to join in.

Call the Chamber office at 795-9996 or stop at 102 Main Street to get a copy of the rules and an application or visit http://www.wahkiakumchamber.com. There is no cost to enter.

For those who don't cook there will be a tortilla throwing contest, live music, a beer garden, and a cow plop raffle.

Cooking starts at 10 a.m. and the public will start tasting at 1 p.m. with judging at 3 p.m.
