What's Happening at the Fair?

There is an angel among us, she has faced some of life’s toughest challenges and yet continues to think of others and how she can lend a hand in support. Within my time as fair manager, she and her family have proven time and time again that they are a pillar of our great community.

I am once again speaking of the great Donna Moody and her lovely family who have just donated a new fryer for the Grange kitchen! Earlier this year Donna and other Grays River Grange members purchased and donated an ice machine, improving the Grange Food booth but also providing a new revenue stream for the fair.

These generous gifts (combined with the recent FEMA purchases) have created a completely new, safe, and easy to manage kitchen. With new counter tops, a resealed floor and a new ice cream cabinet, I am thrilled to announce that the Grange Kitchen has finally stepped into the 21st century. Thank you Donna and Brian McClain for making this happen, the fair board and I are incredibly grateful for your support.

Calling all gardeners! We need plants, flowers, seeds and anything else you are willing to donate. We’ve created a lot of new flower beds this year and are looking for volunteers to help us plant and donate flowers. We’ll also be constructing new animal structures so if you have any spare building materials lying around, please keep the fair in mind.

Get your hands on this summer's bargain and buy your season pass today! A steal at $6, you can purchase a pass through one of our princesses, at Cathlamet Pharmacy, the Rosburg Store or the fair office.
