Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
It’s been an exciting week down at the fairgrounds, with many projects moving forward. Pacific Tech has started excavating the construction site in preparation for pouring the new foundations for the main arena. Community service workers and volunteers have been painting the interior of the Youth Building, while Lisa Frink completed the notoriously difficult ribbon order.

With the lack of funding in 2010, the fair board and I are working hard to ensure we make every penny stretch. The budget is tight but with help from volunteers and generous donations from the community, we’ll continue to provide one of the best county fairs around!
