Circus coming to town May 24

On May 24th, the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce is bringing the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus, America’s Favorite Big Top Circus, to Cathlamet with two scheduled performances at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Wahkiakum High School's softball field.

Now in its 21st season, C&M Circus has become internationally known for being an authentic one-ring, big top circus and has been featured on National Geographic’s Explorer TV series, Entertainment Tonight, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, Arizona Highways Magazine. It has also been featured on the A&E Special: Under the Big Top and most recently, On the Road with Circus Kids, a Nickelodeon special featured on the Nick News Program.

Visitors can save money by purchasing tickets in advance from The Bank of the Pacific in Cathlamet and Naselle, and also at the Chamber's Visitor Center located at 102 Main Street in Cathlamet. Prices for advance tickets are $6 for children ages two to 12, children under two are always free, and $8 for adults. On show day tickets will be $1.50 more.
