Filing for offices that will be on the 2009 election ballots opened Monday in the office of the Wahkiakum County Auditor.

In the only partisan office on the ballot, Kay Holland filed for election as County Clerk, a one year unexpired term, incumbent. She was appointed to the office last year when incumbent Barbara Blix resigned.

In other filings:

Lee C. Tischer filed for re-election to the board of directors of the Wahkiakum School District, Position 4, a four year term.

Robert E. Rendler filed for election to the Town of Cathlamet council, Position 4, a four year term. He was appointed to the position last year.

Kayrene Gilbertsen, incumbent, has filed for election to the board of commissioners of Port District 2, Position 1, a six year term; she was appointed to the position two years ago.

Kathy Durrah, incumbent, has filed for election to the board of commissioners of Cemetery District 1, Position 3, a six year term.
