Port 1 OK's resolutions

Commissioners of Port District No. 1 passed several resolutions when they met March 12. These included:

--A resolution amending the procedures for sale of abandoned vessels, and

--A resolution authorizing public sale of an abandoned vessel.

The port will sell by auction a vessel owned by Mark Moore, Matt Hamman and Fyrwood Studios, LLC, which the commission has determined to be abandoned. The owners were notified by registered mail of unpaid charges and late fees and didn't respond within a 90 day response time.
