Chocolate extravaganza enters its 11th year

On February 13, The Charlotte House Advisory Board is sponsoring the 11th Annual Chocolate Extravaganza from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Hotel Cathlamet. Each year, local bakers compete for the title of "Most Decadent Dessert." Last year, Kitty Speranza was the Grand Prize Winner for her Cappuccino Bars. This year's entries include Chocolate Almond Coconut Balls, Palmer House Hilton Brownies, Almond Roca, Chocolate Sin Raspberry Truffles, Chocolate Espresso Snow Caps and much, much more.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. There will be "To Go Boxes" available for $10. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Bank of the Pacific, The Secret Garden, St. James Family Center, Trillium Book Store, Sharon's Pizza and The Golden Ladder. Tickets will also be available at the door.

All proceeds from the Chocolate Extravaganza benefit The Charlotte House Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Programs. Matching funds are being provided by Thrivent Financial Services.
