Lady Mules fall to Ducks, plunder Pirates

The Wahkiakum Lady Mule girls basketball team lost 40-37 to Toutle Lake last Saturday and swamped Adna 58-38 in Central League action this past week.

On Tuesday, Adna took a 7-4 lead, and it looked like the Pirate press would give the Mules trouble. Then the Mule defense went to work with steals and rebounds at Adna's end of the court that got turned into fast breaks. The Mules led 17-7 after one quarter, 24-14 at halftime and 38-16 after three quarters.
