Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

What's happening at the Fair?

Even if you’ve been naughty this year you won’t want to miss our Christmas Carnival & Bazaar, happening this Saturday. Fun for the whole family, Santa and his elves will be on hand to answer any Christmas requests. There will be games and treats as well as a great selection of locally produced holiday items. Don’t miss out, from 3 - 6 p.m., at the fairgrounds in Skamokawa.

The Grange Hall will also be hosting a spaghetti feed from 6 -8 p.m. on Saturday. Everyone is welcome and the food is free, as always donations are welcomed. Come down to see Santa and stay for a fantastic meal!

Bingo is coming! The fair board and I are excited to announce that Bingo will be returning to Wahkiakum County in 2009. Details are still being confirmed but for all those Bingo lovers out there, watch this space.

The Holiday season is a time to give thanks, and I must say a special thank you to the county commissioners for their support. Their commitment to the fair has really helped to remind me of the strength of character which defines Wahkiakum County.
