Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
It was a bright sunny day for Wahkiakum County’s first annual Oktoberfest. The pumpkin shot-put was a real crowd pleaser, providing entertainment for all ages. Thank you to all who came to help us raise funds for the fair; I hope you enjoyed yourself and look forward to seeing you again next year.
Looking for something scary this Halloween? Look no further, as the fairgrounds are hosting the creepiest, scariest and most bone-tingling Haunted House you’ve ever seen. Witches, ghosts, ghouls and more, the Haunted House will send shivers down your spine.
For one night only, the vampires and creepy crawlies of Wahkiakum will come out to play. Come see for yourself, November 1, from 6 p.m., if you dare…
Next month is our turkey bingo event followed by a Christmas bazaar in December. We have lots of fun events in store and hope you can join us. All proceeds benefit the fair so please dig deep if you can.
If you would like to volunteer at a fair fund-raiser or make a donation please contact the fair office on 360-795-3480.
