The Wahkiakum Mule Lady Mule volleyball team split results in Central League action this past week.
On Tuesday, the Mules swept the Pe Ell Trojans by scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-20. In the last game, they outscored the visitors 13-2 down the stretch to win.
Ashley Helms had four kills; Paige Kehrli made 17 assists, and Samantha Cress played well in the back row.
Last Thursday, the Mules lost 25-19, 25-20, 25-22 at Napavine. Sarah Doumit had 10 kills; Blaine Land made seven kills and four blocks, and Shelby Deaton had six kills and three blocks.
The Mules entertain Vancouver Christian tonight (Thursday) and head to Toutle Lake on Tuesday to take on the league-leading Ducks. They close out the regular season at home next Thrusday against Morton.
