Mules undefeated in league volleyball

The Wahkiakum Lady Mule volleyball team kept its perfect record alive with two wins in league play this week.

On Tuesday, the Mules traveled to Vancouver and swept the Columbia Adventist Kodiaks 25-13, 25-18, 26-24.

Sarah Doumit led the attack with 11 kills. Ashley Helms had five kills, and Blaine Land had three blocks and four kills.

Last Thursday, the Mules swept White Pass 25-15, 25-12, 25-9.

Shelby Deaton made 12 kills; Paige Kehrli had seven kills, 19 service points and 17 assists. Jordyn Wirkkala made 13 service points.

The Mules are 7-2 overall, 4-0 in league play. They go to Napavine tonight (Thursday). They host Pe Ell next Tuesday
