Members of the Cathlamet Town Council held a special meeting Tuesday to take care of unfinished business from their June 16 meeting.
The council had delayed approval of developer Todd Nicholson's proposed Marina Estates short plant because there was no map of the four-lot subdivision and there was no evidence that it had approval other than copies of the town planning commission minutes.
Nicholson had had the map prepared, and it contained signatures showing approval from the public works department and fire department, so council members present, Wally Wright, David Goodroe and Mayor Pro-tem Bill Talbott voted approval.
Wright raised an issue of liability coverage at the skate park in Erickson Park, and town clerk Sylvia Costich said she would check with the town's insurance carrier.
Goodroe commented that he thought the insurance issue had been taken care of in the past and that the mayor, Dick Swart, had checked again this year.
