Community network seeks grant proposals

The Wahkiakum Community Network is now requesting proposals for local activities and programs; total funds available are $47,160 and include state and federal funds directed towards prevention and reduction of the Network’s targeted problems of teen substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, and domestic violence in Wahkiakum County. When the funds become available the funding period would run July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.

Applications must be received by May 30, 2008. Applications may be delivered to the Wahkiakum County Auditor's Office, mailed to Wahkiakum Community Network, Post Office Box 629, Cathlamet, WA 98612, or e-mailed to wahkiakum@centurytel.net.
