Puget Island resident and Clark College Professor Emeritus Paul Aldinger will speak at Redmen Hall in Skamokawa at 3 p.m. on April 20. The full title of his talk is "Ballots and Bandwagons: the How and Why of the Election Process." Friends of Skamokawa are sponsoring the event.
Aldinger taught political science and history for 30 years at Clark College, having graduated from Willamette University and later having received a graduate degree from University of Oregon. During his tenure at Clark, he was honored with three National Endowment for the Humanities fellowships to further his studies. Among the positions he has held over the years are president of the Ft. Vancouver Historical Society, board member of the Wahkiakum County Historical Society, and the Washington State Legislative Ethics Board.
