Election lecture planned

Retired professor Paul Aldinger will give a talk entitled "Ballots and Bandwagon, the How and Why of the Election Process," at the Redmen Hall in Skamokawa.

Aldinger spent 30 years teaching political science and history at Clark College and has three fellowships. He also served for 27 years on the Washington State Legislative Ethics Board.

Since retiring from teaching, Aldinger and his wife moved to Puget Island. Both have served on the Wahkiakum County Historical Society Board of Trustees, the County's mental advisory board and the advisory board of Timberlands, a three county mental health consortium.

The Friends of Skamokawa are offering the lecture which will take place on April 20 at 3 p.m.
