Blue Tarp Fundraiser planned for JBH center

Winter storms caused significant damage to the Julia Butler Hansen Center roof over Julia's office area. Repair costs will be partially covered by insurance.

To gain the remaining funding for the repair work, the Wahkiakum Community Foundation is sponsoring the “Blue Tarp Affair,” a Chinese dinner at the Villa at Little Cape Horn on March 20.

Rob and Diane Stockhouse will be chefs for the evening's gala event. The Stockhouses have studied Chinese cuisine extensively and have gained a reputation for their culinary expertise. The menu will feature the Stockhouse’s favorite Chinese dishes, all made from scratch.

Named for the tarp on the roof now protecting the study, the dinner will be limited to a seating of 50 guests. Cost for each ticket will be $50.
