Chocolate Extravaganza has tempting treats this Friday

The Charlotte House Advisory Board is sponsoring the 10th Annual Chocolate Extravaganza tomorrow (Friday) from 5-8 p.m. at the Hotel Cathlamet.

Each year, local bakers compete for the title of "Most Decadent Dessert." Last year's grand prize winner was Theresa Vidion. This year's entries include Mini Black Butte Bites, Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake, Chocolate Pistachio Biscotti and many more.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. For those that can't stay, to-go boxes will be available for $10. Tickets may be purchased in advance at The Bank of the Pacific, The Secret Garden, and St. James Family Center. Tickets will also be available at the door.

All proceeds from the extravaganza will benefit The Charlotte House Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Programs. Matching funds are being provided by Thrivent Financial Services.
