The Tigers pulled away for a 23-8 first quarter lead and led 34-20 at halftime.

The Mules expanded their pressing defense in the second half, and that disrupted the Tiger offense. The Mules outscored them 20-12 in the third quarter and 22-11 in the fourth.

Josh Rongey led the Mule scoring with 22 points; he also had seven assists. Cody Olsen and Bobby Helms each had 14, Tyler Benson six, Kyle Benson four and Hayden Miles two.

The Mules head to Chehalis to play Adna tonight (see related story), Thursday. They host the Wahkiakum Christmas Tournament next Thursday and Friday. South Bend, Kalama and Raymond are scheduled to compete.
