For people who are concerned about paying higher heating bills this winter, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) may be able to help.
LIHEAP is a federally funded program providing assistance with winter heating bills--electric, wood, wood pellets, oil, propane or natural gas, to income-eligible households. Annual net household income limits are $12,763 for one person, $17,113 for two, $21,463 for three, $25,813 for four, and $30,163 for five. Additional income allowed for larger families.
