Children's Christmas store needs donations, volunteers

November 1 , 2007

St. James Family Center needs donations of gifts from individuals and merchants for children to buy and wrap for their family members at their Children's Christmas Store.

The event has become an annual tradition with all gifts selling for a dollar or less. Gifts for men are always in short supply and bows and wrapping paper are also needed. Donations may be left, along with the name of the donor, at the St. James front desk.

The store is open to children 12 and younger during the St. James Christmas Bazaar. Hours this year are November 16 from 4-7 p.m. and November 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Volunteers are needed for two hour shifts to help the children make their choices and wrap their presents.

Call Linda at the Family Center at 795-8612.
