Mules sweep Pe Ell

The Wahkiakum Mule volleyball team swept the Pe Ell Trojans Tuesday, winning 25-18, 25-14, 25-22 at Pe Ell.

Jordyn Wirkkala played super defense and recorded four kills and eight service points, said Coach Patty Anderson. Brandi Arness added five kills and eight service points and also played strong defense, Anderson said, and Shelby Deaton was strong at the net with four kills and seven blocks.

The Mules entertain Vancouver Christian tonight (Thursday) in the team’s last home match of the year. Seniors will be recognized, Anderson said.
