Bank of the Pacific team clean up at chili cook-off

Winners of the Buzzard's Breath Chili Cook-Off were the Bank of the Pacific team, l-r Nikki Bergseng, Chelsea Paulsen, Kim Havens, Penny Paulsen.

The Buzzard's Breath Chili Cook-Off set tongues on fire on Labor Day weekend, with the team from the Bank of the Pacific taking home first prize.

In second place was Bill Wilkins with Windermere Realty in Cathlamet and third place went to Jennifer Johnson with the Rat Tap Tavern.

The Peoples' Choice award went to the "Parrot Heads."

Kim Havens of the winning chili team was also the winner of the Cow Plop game.

The annual event is sponsored by the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce.
