When she was 20 years old she moved to Wahkiakum County. Arlie married George Fauver who preceded her in death in 1972. After George passed, Arlie moved to Arizona where she met and married Hod Sanders, in 1980. Arlie enjoyed life on the ranch in Globe, Arizona until retirement and then they moved to Young, Arizona.
