    Trudy Fredrickson, Wah. Co. Eagle|Dec 29, 2011

What a week! I hope all the readers had a wonderful Christmas. We certainly did, as well as the few days prior to the holiday. Wyatt is the second son for Shane and Delena, and he was eagerly hugged by big brother, Emmett, about an hour after he was born. Life is certainly a miracle. We headed to Oregon on Friday for the holiday and spent most of our time eating...

***Advertisement*** WAHKIAKUM WEST TELEPHONE has been the local telephone company serving the Grays River and Naselle areas since approximately 1927. During the intervening years, we have worked hard to build a telephone system that would provide high quality telecommunications services to the communities we serve. We have done this notwithstanding the higher costs of serving rural areas in the State of Washington and when few, if any, other telephone companies were interested in serving our communities. We have served and intend to continue...

  • Thanksgiving over, Christmas coming

    Trudy Fredrickson, Wah. Co. Eagle|Dec 1, 2011

It didn’t look good for our trip to Oregon last week when we got up on Wednesday morning. Lake Fred (our hay field) had raised its ugly head and the driveway was flooded. Thank goodness for our van, which we ended up driving as the Volvo couldn’t make it through the water. My wonderful sister, Diane, even had to miss a day of work as she couldn’t get her car out. Now it looks like a little rain on the way and then some dry days. News from Naselle: The Naselle sports teams will be pretty busy with games in this week’s schedule: today (Thursd...
