    Things are looking up for the Wahkiakum Mules boys basketball team, who followed a tough loss with two wins this week. Last Thursday at home, the Mules played catch up with Morton/White Pass and watched it all fall apart when the Timberwolves Kaleb Rashoff hit a last second shot from three point range to win the game.     It’s time for the annual Downriver Challenge, the all day wrestling meet hosted by the Wahkiakum High School wrestling team and family. According to Frankie Mendez, the wrestling coach for Wahkiakum High School, 13 teams from southwest Washington and Oregon are expected to attend, including Mark Morris, R.A.
