To The Eagle: The Wahkiakum Food Bank would like to thank the grade school for the food drive they did for the food bank last month. It was greatly appreciated by the people who received the food and also by the food bank. I think they had a lot of fun doing this -- 1,300lbs of food! The summer months are usually down from giving, with the children home from school, vacation time, etc. Now we are looking forward to Thanksgiving.
