    The Wahkiakum Lady Mules volleyball team split games this week bringing their overall record to 5-8. On Thursday, the team hosted Rainier and won the match in four sets, 25-8, 26-24, 25-17, and 25-17. "Rainier has some scrappy defense so we had to outlast to put the ball away," Coach Kayli Hurley said. Megan Leitz had 12 kills, five digs, and two blocks.     The Wahkiakum/Adna football game scheduled for last Friday was postponed because of covid-19 presence at Adna. Wahkiakum Mule Coach Ryan Lorenzo said the Adna game is now scheduled for Nov. 1 and that the game scheduled with King's Way has been rescheduled to Oct. 28 (a typo in the print edition mistakenly said the game would be played Oct. 26).     Sixth grader Clara Hogue was the only member of the Wahkiakum cross country team to compete last Thursday in a Central 2B meet in Toledo. She joined 12 other runners in the middle school 2,500 meter race and took sixth place with a time of 12:15. The winner, Ruby Langer of Wind River, won the race with a time of 11:05....
