It sure is nice to have so much sunshine lately. I might even get the lawn mowed one more time before the rains make it impossible. The chill in the morning and evening air are sure signs of fall making an appearance, but the leaves haven’t really had much of a change in their colors yet. Stew luncheon & bazaar set for October 29 Beef stew, cheese bread, coffee, hot mulled cider and dessert will be bringing people from miles around to the Grays River Methodist Church social hall on October 29. The Grays River Friendship Circle’s Stew Luncheon & Bazaar will also feature crafts, paintings, original clothing and home decorations, plus a second hand shop, and a bake sale from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Takeout meals will be available.
