    Marie Elizabeth Schwarze, 84, of Cathlamet, died October 10, 2020 at Somerset Retirement Home in Longview. She was born June 26, 1936 in Schenectady, New York to William and Marie VanValkenburg. She married William (Bill) Schwarze in August 1960. Marie and her family moved to Cathlamet in 1975 when they purchased Cathlamet Building Materials.     On Friday, Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services received another positive test result notification for covid-19 in a Wahkiakum County resident, bringing the county’s total to 10. The individual is symptomatic and in self-quarantine. The three new cases this week are not believed to be related and there is currently no connection to the daycare or the school.
