  • Winter clothing drive set for October-November

    Puget Island Fire Auxiliary will host their second annual Warm Winter Clothing Drive. Donation bins will be available at the Puget Island Fire Hall on SR 409 and also at Rivermile 38 during October and November. Distribution will take place in December.     Wahkiakum County law enforcement officers and emergency response personnel handled a variety of reports during the past week, including: September 25 — 10:24 p.m. A caller accidentally dialed 911.
