Wahkiakum Youth Football will hold a spaghetti feed on October 8 from 5 till 6:30 p.m. in the Grade School Multipurpose room. The team is inviting everyone to come out and enjoy spaghetti before the high school football game Friday night which, as it may be the last home game, may be senior night. To The Eagle: I would like to clarify the issue brought up by Ms. Grasseth in her letter to The Eagle (9/16/10). The only qualification you must have to run for Sheriff is to be a registered voter. Washington State law (RCW 36.28.025) states that to hold the office of county Sheriff you must, within 12 months of assuming office, have a certificate of completion of a basic law enforcement training program.
