    According to Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, there were over 39,000 homeless students enrolled in Washington state schools during the 2015-2016 school year.     The community contributed a record-breaking $172,000 at Community Home Health & Hospice’s charity care fundraiser, On the red carpet: 40 years of caring.     Students at John C. Thomas dressed up as historical figures in a kind of historical fair called A Night at the Museum on Monday, June 12, in the middle school gym. In preparation, each student, sixth through eighth grade, gave teachers a list of 10 people from history that they were interested in.
