    The Wahkiakum High School Mules basketball team won four more games this week, including two on Monday and Tuesday in the district tournament to bring their overall record to 8-3. The Mules moved into the semifinals of the tournament on Wednesday against Napavine, but the score was not available by press time.     This story has been updated from original print version The 43rd Annual Senior All Star baseball game scheduled at Centralia’s Wheeler Field for Sunday, June 6, was postponed because of rain. It will be played today (Thursday) at 5:30 p.m. at Lower Columbia College. Five local athletes will represent Wahkiakum High School and Naselle High School in the game.   • Update: Six more test positive for covid-19; total rises to 155

    On Friday morning, Wahkiakum Health and Human Services reported that two more cases of covid-19 have been confirmed in the county with at least one known connection to Wahkiakum School District. In a second press release on Friday afternoon, WHHS reported that there were four more cases, with no connection to either WSD or St. James Family Center. This brings the cumulative total to 155 with 37 considered potentially active. The individuals are in self quarantine.
