Members of the Naselle Comet Track and Field Squad had a good trip to the state Class 1B Track and Field meet at Cheney last week and brought home six medals. To medal, athletes must place eighth or higher in an event. The 2015 track season ended for the Wahkiakum Mules on Friday in Cheney at the State 2B Track Meet at EWU. Despite competing in three events, the Mules did not qualify for finals. Cheyenne Barton placed 12th in the 400 meter prelims with a time of 1:04.34.
