The Lady Mules ran into a little competition this week, winning two of three games. Last Thursday, the Lady Mules hosted a 2A Tumwater team after Adna had to cancel because of covid-19. The Lady Mules lost 57-40. "We lost the Adna game with a day's notice," Coach Rob Garrett said. The Wahkiakum Mule boys basketball team only played one game last week after a couple schools in the region had to cancel games because of covid-19. On Friday, Wahkiakum hosted Rainier and won 67-49. Several members of this year's Wahkiakum High School baseball team were selected to Central 2B all-league teams, following a vote by coaches in the league. Beau Carlson and Ashden Niemeyer were selected to the Central 2B league first team, while Brody Carlson and Tristan Collupy made the second team.
