    Dental records were used to identify Delmar Dixon, 61, of Rainier, Ore., whose body was found by a walker on Little Cape Horn beach on May 7. Dixon was last seen on December 26, 2021. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Department was contacted for information, but no details were provided. Cause of death is undetermined. The family has been notified....

    Naselle's Jason Harman watches his base hit sail into left centerfield which proves to be the game winner. Harman's single scored two runs in the process and the Comets clinched the 1B District 4 title against Mossyrock in the heavy rain and wind May 11 in South Bend.     Naselle starting right hander Brynn Tarabochia was nearly perfect against Taholah on Monday afternoon in South Bend. The 2021 1B all coastal league superstar shut out the Chitwins with a marvelous performance. Tarabochia struck out nine, gave up only one hit and zero runs.     Story by Jessica Vik 4-H Wahkiakum Robotics Club Program Coordinator Wahkiakum 4-H and Wahkiakum High School hosted Hilltop Aerial on May 11 at the football field. The small business owned by siblings Kyler and Maddie Standley and their friend Trevor Kent, brought their six-prop drone named Wingnut to give a demo. Wingnut is a work drone with a 6' diameter.
