On Sunday, Lower Columbia PFLAG will meet at St. James Family Center in Cathlamet at 5 p.m. and view a short documentary film, I Came Out. It was created by Tacoma PFLAG to show the importance of living life honestly. It also shows that it is not just LGBTQ people who deal with coming out. The Wahkiakum Mules baseball team began postseason play on Saturday with two wins, which secured a trip to a regional state game on May 20. When they beat Napavine on Tuesday in the semifinals, they reserved a spot in the Southwest District 4 Championship game. The Mules beat Toledo 1-0 in a loser out game last Saturday and landed in one of the four remaining spots open in the district bracket. The Mules had their best four man performance of the year but lost a heart breaker to North Beach on the front nine of Three Rivers Golf Course on Tuesday. All six Mules in the rotation shot in the 40's for the first time ever with this group on the course scheduled to host the district championships and state qualifier.
