    Recently released Healthy Youth Survey data show a high and increasing number of Washington youth reported feeling so sad or hopeless they stopped a usual activity or seriously considered suicide in the past year. The number of students who reported feeling anxious, nervous or on edge or not being able to stop worrying is also on the rise.     The Master Gardener Plant Sale and Tomatopalooza will be held Saturday, May 18, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Cowlitz Co. Fairgrounds Floral and Agriculture Buildings.     The Wahkiakum Mule baseball team is returning to the state tournament. District began last Saturday at Lower Columbia College, with a 10-0 Mule win against Raymond, ending the season for the Gulls. Luke Brown hit a triple and two doubles for the Mules, driving in two runs. James Anderson had two doubles and one run and Ashden Niemeyer hit a double and had two RBIs.     The Cathlamet Town Council will hold a special meeting Monday to fill a vacant seat on the council. The meeting will be held in the DeBriae Fire Hall Meeting Room starting at 3 p.m. Two people have applied to fill the vacancy, Acting Clerk/Treasurer Sylvia Costich said Friday. They are Robert Stowe and David Olson. The council plans to meet in executive session to review the candidates' applications.
