    Greetings from the Fair office. The Fair Board has picked the 2014 Fair Theme: Red, White and Moooo! I will be in the Fair office Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. The Easter Bingo was a success. I would like to thank everyone who donated raffle items or their time. The car show is happening May 31 at the Fairgrounds so in preparation for this we will be having a clean up day on May 24 starting at 10 a.m. Anyone who wants to volunteer please come on down.     What could be a more suitable mother-daughter activity then going to the Grays River Methodist Church Friendship Circle Spring Tea and Luncheon together on May 18. This year’s theme is “As Time Goes By,” with all of our favorite things; a wonderful menu, a fashion show with stories and memorabilia of times gone by, prizes and surprises, and a hat contest.   • Cemetary clean up planned

    The Seal River Cemetery Association has scheduled a cemetery clean-up day for Saturday, May 17 at 1 p.m. at the cemetery in preparation for the Memorial Day weekend. “Many hands and tools make clean-up faster but more importantly the memories that we make with the different families will last a lifetime,” said spokesperson Linda Elliott.
