Alexandra is the daughter of Cathlamet native Mike Lawrence and his wife, Carin, and the granddaughter of Cathlamet resident Lorraine Lawrence. She is a freshman at Olympia High School. Concerned Wahkiakum County residents will again meeting May 21 at 11 a.m. to discuss the future of the Seal Creek Cemetery at a brown bag lunch at Johnson Park in Rosburg. Participants will discuss the progress of translation of old Finnish records that created the private cemetery company and the present issue, which is the long term upkeep of the cemetery. Entry deadlines are nearing for the 11th Annual Dollars for Scholars Sturgeon Derby and sixth Annual Rods and Reels rod run, which will occur on June 4. Registration forms are due in by May 14 for the sturgeon derby and May 20 for the rod run. Entry forms can be turned in at Naselle Hardware, Cathlamet Chevron, or the Bank of the Pacific Cathlamet Branch.
