    Wahkiakum County commissioners handled a variety of business Tuesday. Public Works Director Pete Ringen announced that a paving contractor had finished paving a section of Steamboat Slough Road ahead of schedule, so the road could be re-opened to the public. Commissioner Blair Brady commented that he would like to see expansion of the turnaround at the end of the road. That work could be done in the future.     The Wahkiakum Mule baseball team returned to play after spring break by winning both games in a double header against Onalaska on Saturday. The Lady Mules traveled to Seattle to play Onalaska at the University of Washington. They also played at home against Onalaska on Tuesday. The Eagle did not receive a report for either game.     Shannon Gildea of the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce was introduced at April’s Wahkiakum Port District 1 meeting last Thursday before the commissioner’s tackled the day’s issues.
