    Army Sgt. Geoffrey M. Goodman has been decorated with the Army Commendation Medal. The medal is awarded to individuals who, while serving in any capacity with the Army, have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism, meritorious achievement or meritorious service. Goodman, a heating and air conditioning equipment repairman, is assigned to the 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, at Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas.   • Museum set to reopen, more bricks available

    The Wahkiakum County Museum in Cathlamet will reopen on May 1 on a limited schedule with help from volunteers. Hours will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1-4 p.m. Those interested in volunteering should contact the museum at 360-795-3954. The museum is also planning to add more engraved bricks to the walkway currently outside the museum.
