    The Cowlitz Coin Club of Longview-Kelso is celebrating its 50th annual coin show on April 28 at the AWPPW Hall, located at 724 15th Avenue in Longview. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission, parking and dealer appraisals are all free. At the show, the public can buy, sell and trade coins, currency, tokens and medals from numerous Pacific Northwest dealers.     Two local high school athletes have been honored as athletes of the week by the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA). As reported by the WIAA, they are: --James Anderson, Wahkiakum, Baseball (JR). Anderson blasted two grand slams and collected 12 RBI in the Mules’ double-header sweep of Winlock, on 4/9.     While their record may be less than they desire, a young and inexperienced Wahkiakum Mule softball team have continued to make the most of each opportunity this season to build the skills necessary to find success in the future.     After a two year hiatus, the Wahkiakum Mule softball team is back in action. Only four of the 13 Lady Mules have played softball before, so it is a year to grow, and to learn new skills and lessons. On March 30, they got a master class in sportsmanship.
