Born June 25, 1931 in Minnesota, she and her parents, Inez and Jesse Turner came to Washington in 1935 where she spent her childhood. She married Forrest Glenn White on June 6th 1949, raised four children until his passing in 1958. She later married Fred Valero Bennett on Dec 6th, 1958 and had four more children.     Chuck Brett Falconer, 56, of Cathlamet passed away peacefully Feb. 22, 2016, at the Hospice Care Center. He was born April 12, 1959, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Robert Falconer and Norma Shores. Chuck grew up in Cowlitz County and relocated to California in his teen years. At 17, Chuck joined the Air Force and was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base working as a security guard.     The Bank of the Cascades officially opened its doors on Monday, and according to Julie Miller, the Oregon President of the Bank of the Cascades (BOTC), there have already been lines forming and new customers signing up.     Wahkiakum High School's Key Club is sponsoring a week-long drive to raise funds for Doernbecher Children's Hospital. The Key Club is taking part in a fund raising program called Kids Making Miracles. Middle and high schools collect funds which benefit the hospital's services for children.
