On February 25 at 10 a.m., WSU Master Gardener Art Fuller will explain everything you want to know about pruning grapevines and how to care for grape starts. The presentation will be followed by a demonstration of pruning techniques. You may bring your pruners and learn how to sharpen them. Mule Wrestler Lilian Hale is the first girl to place at the state wrestling tournament in Wahkiakum High School history, according to Coach Ross Lofstrom. Hale, a junior, took sixth place at 155 at the Mat Classic in the Tacoma Dome over the weekend. Another wrestler, Malachi Schaefer, finished the season just shy of placing.
