    A new group is forming in Wahkiakum County to support healthy living. The first meeting of the “For Your Health” support group will be held Thursday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the River Street Meeting Room, 25 River Street, Cathlamet. Topics for the group will be determined by participants, but may include weigh-ins at meetings, understanding nutrition, vitamin power and knowledge, and selecting an appropriate fitness training program.     The Grays River Methodist Church Friendship Circle’s Stew Luncheon and Bazaar will be held February 22. Hearty beef stew, delectable cheese bread, beverages and dessert will be served in the Grays River Methodist Church social hall. There will also be a bake sale and some new and repurposed items for sale. The luncheon and bazaar run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Takeout meals will be available.     Redmen Hall will re-open with its popular antique sale March 1. Saturday and Sunday hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but will return to the usual hours of noon until 4 p.m. for the second week, March 6-9. Consigners are encouraged to bring collectibles for the sale to Redmen Hall, 1394 W SR 4, Skamokawa, from noon until 4 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, February 24-25.     The Care Careers Academy will be offering an evening CNA program starting March 3 from 5-9:30 p.m. CNA training allows graduates to work in nursing homes, in-home senior/disabled care, doctor’s offices, retirement homes, adult family homes and hospitals and is a pre-requisite for many nursing schools.
